Bobby Wheelan, President 3 RAR Association SA, chairs a meeting at the RARSA Clubrooms
Instead of a meeting across a table you can discuss with your fellow members any issue that is brought up. Consensus can be quick and action immediate or time can be taken to consider a matter in more detail before a poll or a formal meeting. I am not suggesting that a blog can take the place of a meeting face to face with friends sharing a beer but it would mean that everyone would be aware of the state of affairs.
In any event, issues remain visible until they are resolved and everyone remains in the loop. Result? Everyone can be said to have been consulted.
One of the main purposes of a social website is to communicate with members and ideally for them to be able to respond and pass comments about issues as they present themselves. This article will be added to as I get the time to pass on tips and hints about using MU Wordpress, (MU stands for multiple users) a superb tool for keeping all informed.
I hope to consolidate the Instructions I have gathered from various sources so that you can learn how to use the program without too much tedious searching. In the meantime, use the bits and pieces I have put on the menu bar. You must register on the site to be able to access WordPress. You may chose any subject you like but obviously, issues that pertain to military matters are relevant to this website.
Please use moderate language and avoid any denigration of individuals. If you want to comment on government or bureaucratic negligence - as we all do, a considered and lucid statement is much more effective than a rant.
Go through the menu items which should give you the information to start a blog.
This instruction will help you set up your very own Blog. Easy to follow.

The URL above will further help you. It is more detailed and some people will find it easier to follow than the video
See the instructional video below
You will find that I have duplicated many of the instructions in order to help you get started with your blog. On the other hand I may have inadvertently left some things out. Please contact me if you are having trouble.
