A VERY SPECIAL NIGHT WAS HELD AT THE CLUBROOMS ON FRIDAY, 12th MARCH INCLUDING A VERY SPECIAL YOUND SOLDIER

The event was a function (low key) for the soldiers from 7RAR, 5RAR and the SASR who are attending a promotion course at Hampstead Barracks, Adelaide. It was held at the RARSA Clubrooms, 13 Beatty Street, Linden Park, Adelaide. 

 A great night was enjoyed by the old codgers and we hope the young serving members enjoyed themselves too. They certainly looked as if they were happy and I guess that they were even happier when they later went to the Tea Tree Gully Hotel where it was said many damsels waited to meet them. I hope they found it was true.

 From a personal perspective, I found being with the lads a very moving experience. Fine young men and the greatest of ambassadors for their Battalions and the Regiment .
